With broken hearts, the family of Irene Janet Galiwoda of Saddle Lake Cree Nation, Alberta regretfully announce that the sun set for her on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at the age of 58 years.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of cherished memories are her children: Chris Galiwoda (Larissa Halfe) of Goodfish Lake, Renea Gladue (Cleve Sunshine) of Edmonton, Raymond Gladue of Edmonton, Randall Gladue of Edmonton, Spencer Gladue of Edmonton; grandchildren: Lakelyn Halfe, Lawson Halfe, Christopher Galiwoda J.R., Cali Galiwoda; brothers: Jacob Loose, Wayne Christmas, Brian Dumais; sisters: Eugene Gardener, Liz Mathiot, Sandra Dumais; extended family: Alex Galiwoda; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Irene is Going into the Arms of her husband: Gary Gladue; parents: Harvey Makokis & Mary Lena Dumais; brothers: Ivan Dumais, Robert Dumais; sister: Wanda Christmas; extended family: John Galiwoda, Alice Galiwoda.
