Helen "Marie" Bohme Obituary
It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of their cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, Helen “Marie” Bohme, on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at the age of 83 years.
Marie is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years: Chris Bohme; children: Diana Gilchrist, Keith (Isabelle) Bohme, Laurel (Walter) Gibbons, Lyle (Teresa) Bohme; grandchildren: Wade (Holly) Gilchrist, Amber (Nick) Schauerman, Kortney (Andrew) Reed, Daylyn Bohme (Bruce Christiansen), Beau (Jennifer) Gibbons, Nicole (Merle) Desjarlais, Evan (Janesta) Bohme, Lauren (Lane) Monk, Michael Bohme (Carmen Vanderveen), Logan Bohme (Anya Danku); fifteen great-grandchildren; sibings: Robert Gantz, Patricia Hawk, Elaine Aschenmeier, Heather Beaulieu; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and loved ones.
Marie was predeceased by her parents: Edward Thomas and Helen Gantz; brother: James Gantz; grandparents: William and Annie Gill.
Cremation has taken place (service will be held at a later date).
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Cold Lake Health Centre doctors, nurses, and EMS for their care of Marie.
