Helen (Hackman) Tanasiuk

It is with saddened hearts and much love that the family of Helen Tanasiuk of Bonnyville, AB, formerly of Andrew, AB, announces her passing on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at the age of 94 years, surrounded by her family.

Helen is lovingly survived by her children: Margaret (Roy) Woycenko, Michael Tanasiuk, Lorrie (Calvin) Sales, Grace (Louis) Lapointe; grandchildren: Crystal (Terence) Strzepek, Bradley (Venessa) Woycenko, Troy Sales, Cathy Woycenko, Ryan (Avery) Sales, Terence (Lisa) Sales, Cheryl Woycenko (Andy Kazakoff), Derek Sales, Devon (Jayelle) Sales, Samantha Lapointe, Caitlyn (Josh) Low; great-grandchildren: Lyric, Axyanna & Colton Strzepek, Alandra Woycenko, Sadie & Asher Sales, Lincoln Low, Kip Sales, Cadence Whalen, Kaleb Bayard, Jaxon Kazakoff; brother: George (Adeline) Hackman; sisters: Mary Olinek, Pearl Melenka, Joan (Val) Lopatka.

Helen was predeceased by her husband: Metro; parents; Nicholas & Rose Hackman; brother: Mac (Olga) Hackman; sisters: Victoria (Leo) Lupaschuk, Eva (Peter) Ostapowich; brothers-in-law: Steve Olinek, Victor Melenka; infant great-grandson: Nixon Sales; father-in-law & mother-in-law: George & Domka Tanasiuk.
