With deep sadness, the family of Gregory James Hunter of Edmonton, Alberta regretfully announces that the sun set for him on Sunday, October 12, 2025 at the age of 45 years.
Gregory is lovingly survived by his special friends: Sherie Crier, Jeri Dion, Brooke; children: Corbyn (Kyra) Parranto of Sooke, B.C., Greg Jr. (Tanisha) Hunter of St. Paul, AB, Carter Raine of Edmonton, AB; mother: June Hunter; granddaughter: Summer-Lee Hunter; siblings: Kelly Hunter, Alvin Hunter (Courtney Large), Courtney Large; nieces & nephews: Mikkayla, Koby, David, Aiden, Joshua, Scarlett, Dredyn, Dailyn, grandson Luka; as well as many other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives.
Gregory was predeceased by his father, George Houle; maternal grandparents: Miles & Caroline Hunter; paternal grandparents: George & Evelyn Houle; mother of his son: Tanya Houle; niece: Kai Hunter; cousin: Lenny Hunter.
Wake, Sunday, October 19, 2025 at 12:00 p.m., Hunter Family Home, House #38, Goodfish Lake, Alberta, leaving Memento Funeral Chapel, St. Paul, Alberta at 11:00 a.m.
Funeral Service, Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., Hunter Family Home, House #38, Goodfish Lake, Alberta with Elder Carl Quinn officiating. Pallbearers: Corbyn Parranto, Greg Jr. Hunter, Carter Raine, Alvin Hunter, Layne Hunter, Craig Memnook, Brad Houle, Tommy Houle. Honorary Pallbearers: all of his aunts and uncles, and everyone who knew and loved him. Final Resting Place, Hill Top Cemetery, Goodfish Lake, Alberta.
