It is with saddened hearts that the family of Glen Garry Saur of Cold Lake, Alberta announces his passing on Tuesday, April 30 2024 at the age of 78 years.
Glen was born in Paradise Hill, Saskatchewan and was the youngest of ten children. The family moved to Grand Centre when he was of 9 years old. When Glen was 17 years old, he lost his father and had to quit school to work on the Base. After a while he moved on to work at Jakes Red & White, then managed Red Rooster for many years. He was very community minded and volunteered at the Cold Lake Senior’s Society Hall.
Glen is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews.
Glen is predeceased by his parents: John & Winifred Saur; nine siblings, one nephew & one niece.
At Glen’s request no formal service will be held and cremation has taken place.
