After a life well lived, the family of George Joseph Cardinal of Goodfish Lake, Alberta sadly announce the sun set for their husband, father, grandpa, great grandpa, brother, uncle and friend on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at the age of 81 years.

George is leaving to mourn his loving wife of 58 years Cecilia Cardinal; children: Carolyn (Calvin) Cook, Michelle Cardinal, Colleen (Dan) Cardinal, Sheldon Cardinal; grandchildren: Kayla, Charmaine, Starlight, Saidee, Brianna, Dylan, Alicia, Nolan, Trevor Jr., Robbie, Sidney, Lauryn, Ashleigh, D.J., Ashton, Hannah, Colby, Jalen, Garrett, Sundance; great grandchildren: Landon, Kendrick, Theodora, Easton, Milani, Serenity, Aaliyah, Tommy Jr., Azaela, Atlas, Adrianna, Parker, Clarence, Niyara, Erica, Elliot, Emilia; siblings: Eva Zigenbein, Leona Petrobono, John Cardinal, Clifford (Delores) Cardinal, Florence (Carl) Quinn, Edna Houle; daughter-in-law: Gail Cardinal.

George is going into the arms of his parents: Joe & Rose Cardinal; son: Trevor Cardinal; siblings: Caroline, Marina, Charlie, Davy.
