The family of Frederick "Fred" Owen Half of Edmonton, Alberta, formerly of Goodfish Lake, Alberta regretfully announce the sun set for him on Wednesday April 16, 2025 at the young age of 45 years.
He leaves behind his loving mother: Joyce Brenda Houle; older sister: Blanche Half; younger brother: Lucien Half; and his sister: Courtney Houle; special cousin: James Tory Jackson; as well as numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins.
Fred also leaves behind his five children: Drayvyn William Frederick Half-Crier, Drake Leonard Jules Half-Crier, Devon Cole Crier all of Edmonton, Alberta, Draianna & Davina Lyn Half-Crier of Leduc, Alberta.
Fred will be going into the arms of his father: Leonard (Poosoos) Houle; maternal grandparents: Jules & Mary Half; paternal grandparents: Percy & Mary Houle; nephew: Donovan Leonard Owen Half; aunties: Adeline Cardinal, Sara B. Jackson, Ann Louise Jackson, Pauline Houle, Delphine Memnook; uncles: Gordon Hitchen, Richard Jackson, Charlie David Cardinal, Ernest Jackson, Gary Bruno, Charlie Jackson, Francis Houle, Arthur Houle, David Houle; cousins: Eugene (Action) Jackson, Norma Jean Jackson, Elmer Half, Cameron Cardinal, Shaun Pruden, Bradley Pruden.
Going Home, Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 4:00 p.m., Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, leaving Memento Funeral Chapel, St. Paul, Alberta at 3:00 p.m.
Funeral Service, Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 1:00 p.m., Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Whitefish Lake #128 Reserve, Goodfish Lake, Alberta with Reverend Stephen Sparks officiating.
Pallbearers; Uncle Randy Whitford, Whitney Jackson, Lucien Half, Earla Half, Darcy Pruden, Craig Memnook, Cody Memnook, Bradley Breast.
Honorary Pallbearers are all those who knew and loved Fred.
