Francis Houle

With grateful hearts for a life well lived, the family of Francis “Pitcheech” Houle of Goodfish Lake, Alberta announces his peaceful passing on Thursday, October 12, 2023 surrounded by his family at his home at the age of 83 years.

Francis is lovingly survived by his wife: Jenny Houle; two sons: Joe Houle, Jarrod Houle; three daughters: Delores Houle, Ursula Houle (Greg Sparklingeyes), Francie Houle; adopted daughter: Cecile Hope; 18 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; siblings: Lloyd Houle, Betsy Whitford; as well as numerous other relatives.

Francis was predeceased by his parents: Tom & Amelia Houle; sons: Ashley Houle, Francis Houle; brothers: Joe, Percy, Henry, Edgerton, Alec, Robert, Tom; sister: Mariah.

Wake, Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake , Alberta leaving Memento Funeral Chapel, St. Paul at 11:00 a.m.

Funeral Service, Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake, Alberta with Father Michael Ngo officiating.  Pallbearers: Lucas Whitford, Kelsey Sunday, Conrad Jackson, Ryan Lapatak, Yodi Berland, Floyd Houle.  Honorary pallbearers: All his friends and family.  Final Resting Place, Hilltop Cemetery, Goodfish Lake, Alberta.
