Florence Plane

The family of Florence Ruth Plane of Cold Lake, Alberta is deeply saddened to announce her passing on Friday, August 11, 2023 in Cold Lake, Alberta at the young age of 89 years. 

Florence will be missed by her children: Theresa (Dave) Legault, David (Marcia) Plane, Donna (Paul) Naundorf; grandchildren: Tabrina Stenz (Joe Bannon), Tara (Dan) Noseworthy, Daric Legault (Maureen Fair Mageau), Robert (Candy) Plane, Gabriel Plane, Jessica Plane, MaryAnne Naundorf, Joshua (Hannah) Naundorf; great grandchildren: Austin Stenz, Colton Stenz, Desmond Noseworthy, Theodore Noseworthy, Rosavieve Plane and another on the way; brother: Raymond Wiedman; sister: Annie Wiedman; special friends to the family: Aislinn Rooney, Robyn Stenz; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Florence is predeceased by her husband: Donald Plane; daughter: Anita Zoopkow; parents: George & Theresa Wiedman; brothers: Emil Wiedman, Bill Wiedman, Rudy Wiedman, Alvin Wiedman; sisters: Katie Campbell, Frieda Slinger.

Service of Remembrance, Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 1:30 p.m., at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 211, Cold Lake, Alberta with Reverend AnnE Zimmerman officiating. The family asks that anyone coming to the service wear their golf shirts or any bright and colorful clothing in tribute to Florence. Final Resting Place, Rat Lake Cemetery, Rat Lake, Alberta.
