Eveline Baker

Eveline passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 1st, 2025, after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her son: Mike (Kelly) Baker, of Edmonton; grandsons: Andrin and Corsin; sister: Myrta (Hugo) Hypyus, of Switzerland. Eveline also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives, as well as many friends, both in Canada and Switzerland.

Eveline was predeceased by her husband: George (2003); son Thomas (1993), and parents Robert Baschlin and Johanna Wafler.

Her family would like to thank the care team on the sixth floor of The Gene Zwozdesky Centre at Norwood for their care of Eveline over the past few months. Additionally, they extend their gratitude to the staff and residents of Harmony at Rutherford for their camaraderie over the past two years.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the St. John's United Church, 4510 43 Avenue, Bonnyville, Alberta. Final resting place will be at the St. John's Cemetery, Bonnyville, Alberta.
