Erna Lupul

It is with deep sorrow and much love that the family of Erna Lupul of Cold Lake, AB mourns her passing in Edmonton, AB on Friday, November 18, 2022 at the age of 88 years.

Erna is lovingly survived by her two daughters: Christina Hoyda (Terry Lesyk) of LaCorey, AB, Monika (David) Embury of Olds, AB; four sons: Viktor Lupul of Edmonton, AB, Stefan (Michelle) Lupul of Oyama, BC, Philip (Mary) Lupul of Ottawa, ON, Myron 'Mick' Lupul (Margaret Davidson) of Cold Lake, AB; twelve grandchildren: Devin, Jordan, Marcus, Justin, Kyle, Candice, Johnathan, Christina, Sara, Roman, Nicholas, Chantelle; seven great grandchildren: Ben, Connor, Kallan, William, Evan, Alexis, Isabelle; sisters: Marie and Frieda, both of Germany; as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family members.

Erna was predeceased by her husband: Eugene Lupul (1991); son: Roman Lupul (1972); parents: Vitalis & Walberga Mehner.

Funeral Service, Thursday, November 24, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., St. Elias Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Bonnyville, Alberta with Father Peter Haugen officiating. Cross Bearer: Devin Lupul. Pallbearers: Jordan Lupul, Marcus Hoyda, Justin Hoyda, Kyle Hoyda, Roman Lupul, Nicholas Lupul. Final Resting Place, St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Big Meadow, AB.
