Emma "Sylvia" Favel

With saddened hearts the family of Emma “Sylvia” Favel of Goodfish Lake, Alberta announces her passing on July 19, 2023 at the age 75 years.

Sylvia will be lovingly remembered by her children: Brian Favel, Florence (Richard) Castor, Sam Favel, Leonard (Sherry) Favel, Donna (Henry) Favel, Gregory (Joanne) Favel, Valerie (Sheldon) Hunter, Debbie (Boss) McGilvery, Kathy (Sheldon) Hunter-Favel, Rodney Favel, Betsy (Lance) Favel; sixty-one grandchildren, sixty-eight great grandchildren; sisters: Jessie Hughson, Joyce Wood, Leona Hunter, Lillian Hunter; brother: Howard “Mus” Hunter Jr. and numerous friends and family.

Sylvia is going into the arms of her husband: Adrian Favel; baby boy: Jonas Favel; parents: Howard and Beatrice Hunter; great granddaughter: Kehlani Alook; great grandson: Ryker Blackman; great great granddaughter: Laura Cardinal; daughter-in-law: Dawn Lori Quinn; sisters: Gloria Hunter, Viola Kuehlke, Linda Bull; brother: Tony Hunter; brother in-laws & sisters-in-law: Ronald Favel, Richard Rayko, Gordon (Delphine) Steinhauer, Jonas (Rita) Cardinal.

Going home Saturday, July 22, 2023 for a two-night wake to Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake, Alberta. Leaving Memento Funeral Chapel, St. Paul, Alberta at 11:00 a.m.

Funeral Service, Monday, July 24, 2023 at 12:00 p.m., Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake, Alberta with Father Michael Ngo officiating.

Final resting place: Family Cemetery.
