The family of Elton Dix Scott of La Corey, Alberta sadly announce his passing on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at the age of 91 years.
Elton is lovingly survived by his brother: Stephen Scott of La Corey; sister: Connie Johnson of Red Deer; sister-in-law: Margaret Scott of La Corey as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Elton is predeceased by his parents: Steve & Agnes Scott; brothers: Claude Scott, Lenard Scott; sisters: Audrey Layh, Florence Ward; brothers-in-law: George Johnson, Roy Ward, Bert Layh; sister-in-law: Lorraine Scott.
Service of Remembrance, Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 1:30 p.m., Willow Prairie Hall, La Corey, Alberta with Gloria Angle officiating. Eulogists: Jodi Tronson, Curtis Scott. Urnbearer: Brenda Pegg. Honorary Urnbearers: Leslie Scott, Jim Thomas, Carl Ljunggren, Gordon Layh, George Johnson, Bohdane Kunec. Final Resting Place, Lessard Community Cemetery, La Corey, Alberta.
