Obituary

It is with deepest sorrow that the family of Ella Ko of Stettler, Alberta announces her passing in Cold Lake, Alberta on Monday, March 21, 2022 at the age of 85 years, just one day short of her 86th birthday.

Ella will be forever in the hearts of her children: Debra (Terry) Pelechosky of Cold Lake, AB, Kevin (Cheryl) Fortier of Sherwood Park, AB, Jamie (Brandon) McFadyen of Sherwood Park, AB, Jodi (Calvin) Sargent of Stettler, AB; grandchildren: Kim Pelechosky, Ronnie Pelechosky, Stephanie (Mackenzie) Miller, Jenna (Alex) Toy, Kasi Boucher, Caleb Beauregard, Jesse (Makayla) LaRose, Kohle Perrin, Kelly Sargent; great grandchildren: Mckenna Pollard, Tessalyn Pollard, Kayanna Pollard, Lukas Miller, Taitym Miller, Molly Toy; sisters: Vida Smith, Viola Krall; sister-in-law:  Cecilia Pohl; as well as numerous nieces & nephews.

Ella was predeceased by her son: Kelly Fortier; parents: Fred & Rosie Pohl; brothers: Walter Pohl, Emmanuel Pohl, Fred Pohl, Harry Pohl; sister: Lilian Gibbons.

A Celebration of Ella’s Life will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Royal Canadian Legion Br 59, 5010-52 Street, Backtraxx Entrance by parking lot side, Stettler, Alberta.
