Elizabeth "Liz" Hunka Obituary
With cherished memories to comfort and grateful hearts for a life well lived, the family of Elizabeth 'Liz' Hunka of Bonnyville, Alberta announces her passing on Monday, October 18th, 2021 at the age of 86 years.
Liz will be lovingly remembered by her daughter: Linda (Mike); two sons: Darrin (Cindy), Gary; sister: Rose; twelve grandchildren: Zachary (Tessa), Jeffrey, Jared, Dallas (Miesha), Nikki (Kurt), Thomas, Christopher, Tara Lynn (Tyler), Paige (Catlin), Jenna, Reece, Tatiana; six great grandchildren: Jesse, Wyatt, Abby, Kaleb, Hailey, Braven; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Liz was predeceased by her husband: George; son: Michael; parents: Stephan & Nancy Laskoski; twelve siblings: Katherine, Fred, William, John, Helen, Stella, Emily, Agnes, Leo, Peter, Josephine, Nick.
A private family Funeral Service was held on Monday, October 25, 2021 at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, Bonnyville, Alberta with Father Rene Realuyo officiating. Pallbearers were Jared, Dallas, Nikki, Thomas, Jenna, Reece. Honorary pallbearers were all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Interment took place at Holy Family Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bonnyville, Alberta.
