With deep gratitude for life, the family of Elizabeth Beatrice MacLean announce her passing on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at the age of 65 years.

Elizabeth was the heart of our Family, a devoted wife and a nurturing mother whose greatest joy was becoming a grandmother.  Known for her unwavering positivity and considerate nature, Elizabeth always knew how to make those around her feel loved and appreciated. Whether she was making custom themed birthday cakes and costumes, or just spending quality time with loved ones, her   passion and attention to friends and family was truly remarkable.  Elizabeth made every holiday and family gathering magical for her grandchildren.

She will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband Malcolm MacLean; her children: Ryan MacLean of Bonnyville, Alberta, Mathew (Sheena) MacLean of Edmonton, Alberta, Malcolm (Jenny) MacLean of Pincher Creek, Alberta; grandchildren: Liam, Ava, Mac (Malcolm), George; mother: Beatrice Gamache; brothers: Louis (Terry) Gamache, Pierre Gamache, Thomas Gamache, Claude (Twila) Gamache, Richard (Angel) Gamache; sisters: Anna (Gilles) Choquet, Claudette (Dan) Dugas, Josee (Chris) Elliott; mother-in-law: Ella Dee.

Elizabeth is predeceased by her father: Bernard Gamache; father-in-law: Malcolm MacLean.
