Eileen Hamilton Obituary

It is with a great sense of loss that the family of Mrs.Eileen Hamilton of Cold Lake, AB announces her passing. Eileen passed away in Cold Lake, AB on February 5, 2025, just two months shy of her 91st birthday.

As a young woman she moved to Saskatoon, SK where she met her beloved Earl Hamilton. They were married on September 2,1955 in Radisson, at the St Paul Lutheran church.  Together they made a life for themselves and raised their family while living back and forth between Saskatoon and Calgary before moving to Cold Lake in 1994, where they later retired.

Eileen is survived by her treasured children Brian (Deborah) Hamilton of Cherry Grove, AB, Pamela (John) Yurchevich of Katy, TX, Kelvin (Anne) Hamilton of Ottawa, ON.

One of Eileen’s most honoured roles was to be Grandma to her 8 Grandchildren. Samara (Jeff) Stonehocker, Matthew (Sheena) Hamilton, Jonathan (Natalie) Hamilton, Tyler (Ashley) Yurchevich, Adam (Candyce) Yurchevich, Kathryn (Christopher) Liuzzi, Christopher Hamilton, and Nicholas (Breta) Hamilton.

Eileen had a great amount of pride for her many great-grandchildren. Zachary (Paihge) Stonehocker, Tyson (Talita) Stonehocker, Lincoln Stonehocker, Jacob Stonehocker, Georgia Stonehocker, Drew Hamilton, Alex Hamilton, Chace Hamilton, Amberly Hamilton, Jaxson Hamilton, Deklan Hamilton, Merania Hamilton, Louis Hamilton, Colby Yurchevich, Landon Yurchevich, Mason Yurchevich, Sophia Liuzzi, Ryan Liuzzi, and Oliver Liuzzi.

In October of 2024 Eileen excitedly became a Great-great-grandma to Bryce Stonehocker.

Eileen was a devoted Aunt to many nieces and nephews on both the Hamilton and Bronsch sides of her family, she loved all of them dearly along with their children and grandchildren.
