Edward Cardinal Obituary
With heavy hearts, the family of Edward Marvin Cardinal of Saddle Lake Cree Nation, Alberta announces the passing of their beloved father, grandfather and brother on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at the age of 49 years.
Leaving to mourn with cherished memories are his sons: Gabriel Chief, Storm Cardinal (Tia Crane), Caleb Cardinal; treasured grandchildren: Ezra Steinhauer, Penelope Crane, Piyesiwak "Thunder" Crane; siblings: Miranda Cardinal, Martin Cardinal; adopted brother: Kevin Cardinal; adopted sisters: Valerie Cardinal, Darlene Cardinal; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Edward was predeceased by his parents: Peter & Esther Cardinal; brothers: Bobby Cardinal, Robin Cardinal; grandparents: Frank & Bella Cardinal, Barner & Catherine Cardinal; sister-in-law: Beverly Hunter.
Wake, Friday, January 3, 2025 at 12:00 p.m., Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake, Alberta, leaving Memento Funeral Chapel, St. Paul, Albert at 11:00 a.m.
Funeral Service, Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake, Alberta with Pastor Francis Morin officiating. Pallbearers: Gabriel Chief, Storm Cardinal, Caleb Cardinal, Marty Hunter, Aaron Cardinal, James Hunter, Rain Cardinal, Anita Houle. Final Resting Place, Hilltop Cemetery, Goodfish Lake, Alberta.
