With heavy hearts, the family of Doris Ramona Lapointe of Bonnyville, Alberta announce that their beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister was called home to be reunited with family and friends on Friday, November 7, 2025 at the age of 94 years.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of cherished memories are her sons: Gilles (Padey) Lapointe of Bonnyville, AB, Louis (Grace) Lapointe of Bonnyville, AB; grandchildren: Marc (Anna) Lapointe of Fort Saskatchewan, AB, Renée (Jarand) Helfrich of Spruce Grove, AB, Samantha Lapointe of Calgary, AB; treasured great grandsons: Adam & Reid Helfrich; brother: Marcel (Pierette) Ducharme; Doris will also be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family & many friends.
Doris was predeceased by her husband: Arthur Lapointe; parents: Archibald & Agnes Ducharme; siblings: Harvey Ducharme, Omer Ducharme, Laurent Ducharme, Simone Collins.
Public viewing, Friday November 14, 2025 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Memento Funeral Chapel, Bonnyville, AB.
Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. (eulogy beginning at 10:15 a.m.), St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, Bonnyville, AB with Father Rene Realuyo officiating. Pallbearers: Roger Ducharme,Terry Lapointe, Tim Buchanan, Daniel Lapointe, Edward Croteau, Edwin Ducharme.
Final Resting Place, St. Louis Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bonnyville, AB.
