With saddened hearts and much love, the family of Denis Laurin of Cold Lake, Alberta announces his passing in Bonnyville on May 24, 2025 at the age of 67 years.
Some of Denis’s hobbies included his love to travel, play trivia, read and work at the Cold Lake Men’s Shed.
Denis’s family would like to thank the nurses & staff at Cold Lake Health Centre, Bonnyville Acute Care, Cold Lake Long Term Care, Bonnyville Extendicare as well as Dr. Khan, Dr. Steyn & Dr Fouché for their compassion and excellent care of Denis.
Denis will be forever loved and remembered by his wife of 33 years: Pat Laurin; brothers: Daniel (Trudy), Paul (Tammy), Michael (Noriko); sisters: Lise (Luc), Diane; step-mother: Michiko Laurin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews & cousins.
Denis was predeceased by his mother: Reiko Laurin in 1972; father: Real Laurin in 2022.
Funeral Service, Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Holy Name Chapel, 4 Wing Cold Lake, Alberta with Father Anthony Ezeonwueme officiating. Urn bearer: Wayne Warner. Eulogist: Chantel Muzyka. For those wishing to view the service, you may do so by live stream here on our website. A recording of the service will also be made available.
