With cherished memories for a life well lived, the family of Denis Bertram Gardner of Cold Lake, Alberta regretfully announces his passing on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at the age of 97 years.
Leaving to mourn are Denis' sons: Stephen (Deborah) Gardner of Campbell River, B.C., Clive (Louisette) Gardner of Cold Lake, AB; grandchildren: Jim (Lotte), Jeffory (Sophie), Andrew, Jonathan, Stephanie, Melissa (Kurtis), Nicholas; treasured great grandchildren: Brodie, Jordan, Max, Leo, Kash, Hunter, Grace, Ethan, Benjamin, Nolan, Bowen, Hudson, Easton; as well as many friends and extended family.
Denis was predeceased by his wife of 63 years: Monica Gardner (2015); parents: Albert-Henry & Helen Gardner; sister: Diana Hewerdine; sister-in-law: Pat Tolley.
Funeral Service, Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., Memento Funeral Chapel, Cold Lake, AB with family friend Donald "Jim" Skinner officiating. Pallbearers: Jimmy Gardner, Jeffory Gardner, Andrew Gardner, Jonathan Gardner, Kurtis Bolle, Nicholas Gardner. Final Resting Place, Lakeview Cemetery, Cold Lake, AB.
