It is with great sadness that the family of Dean Whitefish of Goodfish Lake, Alberta announces his unexpected passing on June 21, 2023 at Goodfish Lake, AB, at the age of 55 years.
Dean is lovingly survived by his son: Joseph Tyler Olsonberg; mother: Sylvia Whitefish; brothers: Dale Whitefish, Neal Whitefish, Carl Whitefish, Joey Whitefish; sister: Carol Whitefish; uncle: Nelson Bernard; aunt: Mary Senger; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & other relatives.
Dean was predeceased by his father: Lloyd Whitefish; paternal grandparents: Sam & Annie Whitefish; paternal uncles: Archie, Villeneuve, Phillip Whitefish, Adolph Whitefish; paternal aunts: Margaret Sangrey, Mildred Hunter, Theresa Smith, Clara Whitefish, Elizabeth Whitefish; paternal cousins: Kenneth Sangrey, Teddy Sangrey, Violet Sangrey, Clarence Sangrey, Eric Hunter, Laura Halfe, Ben Whitefish, Sam Whitefish, Lawson Whitefish, June Storvik, Rick Whitefish; maternal grandparents: Edward & Edna Bernard; uncles: Paul Bernard, Laurie Bernard, Sam Bernard, David Bernard; aunts: Cornelia Bernard, Irene Whitford, Cecile Neilson; cousins: Cameron Whitford, Sam Bernard, Edna Bernard, Josie Bernard, Carl Bernard, June Bernard.
