It is with great sadness that the family of Dean James Svanda of Pierceland, Saskatchewan announces the passing of their husband, father, brother & uncle on Saturday, October 7, 2023 in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 54 years.
Dean will be forever loved and remembered by his wife of 15 years: Jackie Svanda; children: Aubree & Harper Svanda; brothers: Danny (Kathy) Svanda, Rick (Joanne) Svanda; mother-in-law: Bernice Somers; sisters & brothers-in-law: Dawn (Lorne) Unrau, Denise (Delvin) Demuth; nieces & nephews: Tanya, Crissy, Daniel, Victoria, Emily, Sarah, Jessica, Troy, Tyson, Dyrin, Durelle.
Dean was predeceased by his parents: Daniel & Dorothy Svanda; father-in-law: Donnie Somers.
Visitation, Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. at Memento Funeral Chapel, Cold Lake, AB.
Funeral Service, Friday, October 13, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Pierceland Community Hall, Pierceland, SK with Pastor Ron Hewitt officiating. Pallbearers: Danny Svanda, Rick Svanda, Delvin Demuth, Lorne Unrau, Gerard Dechaine, Mark Johnson. Final Resting Place, Pierceland Community Cemetery, Pierceland, SK.
