With  broken hearts the family of Cornelis "Corn" Favel of Goodfish Lake, Alberta regretfully announces the sun set for their beloved father, son, brother, nephew and friend on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at the age of 52 years.

Corn is lovingly survived by his children: Abigail Favel, Austin Favel; dad: Richard Favel; siblings: James Favel (Sheila), Francis Favel (Mabel), Sam Favel, Marie Favel (Malcolm), Jenny Favel (Lawrence); aunties: Jenny Houle, Annie Ward; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Corn is going into the arms of his mother: Victoria Favel; father: Silas Favel; siblings: Ricky "Paul Elvis" Favel, John Favel, Laura "Minnie" Favel; uncles: Lawrence Dumais, Francis Houle, Erastus Favel; aunties: Minnie Favel, Mary Houle; nieces & nephews: Tunny Favel, Eric Favel, Abraham Favel, Brittany Favel, Jade Favel, Bruce Favel.

Wake, Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 12:00 p.m., Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake, AB, leaving Memento Funeral Chapel, St. Paul, AB at 11:00 a.m.

Funeral Service, Friday, August 2, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., with Father Michael Ngo officiating. Pallbearers: Adam Favel, Kane Desjarlais, Dean Houle, Vince Breast, Brad Breast, Stan Houle, Dallas Scanie, James "Cheeko" Cardinal, Alec Favel, Grant Favel. Honorary Pallbearers; his special friend Cheryl Bull, Ran Ran and everyone that knew and loved him. Final Resting Place, Hilltop Cemetery, Goodfish Lake, AB.
