Brendin Charles Dodman

It is with incredible sorrow that the family of Brendin Charles Dodman, of Cold Lake, Alberta announces his unexpected passing on Saturday, December 11, 2021, in Cold Lake, Alberta at the tender age of 37 years, after he lost his long battle with addiction.

Brendin was born to Royce Isaac Dodman and Dona-Lea Moore (Paige) on June 24, 1984 at the John Neil hospital in Cold Lake, Alberta. His heart was always open to let someone in; every person he came in contact with knew that they had a place in his heart, but none more special and precious than his children. Nothing hurt him more than missing them.

Brendin's smile and his famous hugs will be missed by all. His laughter and joy could, and did, fill any room he walked into. He would give when he had nothing to give but his smiles, jokes, favors, and mostly, his time. Even at his lowest he encouraged others to fight one more day with laughter and a warm embrace.

Brendin will be forever remembered and cherished by his parents: Royce Dodman & Dona-Lea Paige; five children: Jasmine Rose Dodman, Jocelyn Raine Thompson, Aurora Elizabeth Dodman, Kadence Joan Dodman, Lucas Calvin Isaac Dodman; six brothers: Robert Dodman, Michael Dodman, Matthew Dodman, Gabriel Dodman, Christopher Dodman, Nicholas Dodman; five sisters: Wavie Dodman, Maureen Heigh Mageau, Maria Heigh Mageau, Carissa Dodman, Samara Dodman; as well as many friends and other family members.

Brendin was predeceased by his grandparents: Lorne & Wavie Dodman; uncle: Gilles Bordeleau; aunt: Jenny Dodman.
