With shattered hearts, the family of Brandon Tyler Cole Kaskamin of Edmonton, Alberta is deeply saddened to announce his passing on Monday, October 6, 2025 at the age of 28 years.
Brandon is lovingly survived by his spouse; Lauraleigh Cardinal; daughter: Braelena Cardinal-Kaskamin; father: Gordie Contois; sisters: Justice Kaskamin, Jada Kaskamin; cousin & best friend: Maison Gladue; uncles: Lance Kaskamin, Yancey Kaskamin, Conrad Gladue, Patrick Gladue; aunties: Jackie Kaskamin, Donna Kaskamin, Darlene (Shane) Gladue, Patricia (Konrad) Gladue, Nadine Gladue, Beatrice Sinclair, Doris Steinhauer; as well as many other nieces, nephews & other relatives.
Brandon was predeceased by his mother: April Kaskamin; grandmothers: Lillian Hunter, Marina Kaskamin; grandfathers: Joe Cardinal, Joe Kaskamin.
Visitation, Thursday, October 16, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., Sacred Heart Church of the First Peoples, Edmonton, Alberta.
Wake, Friday, October 17, 2025 at 12:00 p.m., Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake, Alberta, leaving Memento Funeral Chapel, St. Paul, Alberta at 11:00 a.m.
Funeral Service, Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake, Alberta. Pallbearers: Maison Gladue, Porter Gladue, Shayden Chalifoux, Deshawn Chalifoux, Conrad Gladue. Honorary Pallbearers: Braelena & his nieces: Ebony, Emery, Alice, Alicia, Alexis.
