It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Alexander "Spider" Sparklingeyes of Goodfish Lake First Nation, Alberta announces his passing on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at the age of 67 years.
Alex is lovingly remembered by his two siblings: Yvonne Sparklingeyes, Dempsey Sparklingeyes; two aunts: Josephine Watchmaker, Annie Sparklingeyes; traditionally adopted Houle family; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and other relatives.
Alex is going into the arms of his mother: Margaret Sparklingeyes; grandparents: Wilson & Mary Jane Sparklingeyes ;three siblings: Brenda Sparklingeyes, Nicole Schling, Orin Deer; two aunts: Helen Sparklingeyes-Logan, Mary Wanuch; three uncles: Harry Sparklingeyes, Marcus Sparklingeyes, Johnny Sparklingeyes.

Funeral Service, Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., Goodfish Lake Cultural Centre, Goodfish Lake First Nation, Alberta with Pastor Linda Burns officiating. Pallbearers: Tommy Lapatak, Dean Cardinal, Simon Watchmaker, Ivan Watchmaker, Bobby Houle, Terry Smallface; honorary pallbearers: his many friends, family and relatives. Final resting place, St. Matthias Roman Catholic Cemetery, Goodfish Lake First Nation, Alberta.
