With broken hearts, the family of Albert Sundown of Edmonton, Alberta, formerly of Big Island Lake Cree Nation, Saskatchewan announces the sun set for their beloved father, grandfather and brother on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at the age of 65 years.
Albert is lovingly survived by his children: Melissa Kytwayhat, Albert Jr. Sundown; treasured grandchildren: Bobby, Billy, Mallory, Dustin, Ayden; brother: Ernest Sundown; as well as many extended family members and friends.
Albert is going into the arms of his parents: John & Mary Sundown; brother: Archie Sundown; sister: Mary Anne Sundown.

Funeral Service, Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., Chief Napew Memorial School Gymnasium, Big Island Lake Cree Nation, Saskatchewan with the Band Elders officiating. Pallbearers: Eldon Dufresne, Murray Sandfly, Johnathan Benson, Lloyd Chief, Albert Chief, Bradley Kahpoonapit. Final Resting Place, Big Island Lake Cemetery, Big Island Lake Cree Nation, Saskatchewan.
